By registering for a seminar, you agree to be exclusively bound by the general terms and conditions described below.

 

Copyright               
We draw your attention to the fact that photography, filming and audio recording during the events - either as a whole or in part - is not permitted for reasons of copyright. Exceptions to this rule may be made on a case-by-case basis for persons with poor eyesight. Teaching materials may not be duplicated by any means without the express permission of the INK ACADEMY - referred to below as the IA - with the exception of individual copies for personal use.

 

Scope of performance          
What you can expect to be offered at and learn during IA seminars can be read in the seminar descriptions in the programme. The seminar fees include all beverages provided during the intervals and at lunchtime. They also cover teaching materials. Not included in the fees are travel and accommodation costs.

 

Liability   
IA's liability for damages other than personal injuries which are not due to culpable breach of contract shall be limited to gross negligence and intent. In all other respects, with the exception of personal injury, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damages which can be reasonably anticipated in the circumstances attending infringements of specific duties, in particular bearing in mind the value of the contract.

 

Registration          
You must register in writing four weeks before the seminar is due to be held. Confirmation of your attendance at the event will also be provided in writing if the number of participants allows. You will be informed in writing if all the seminar places have been taken.     
Seminar fees are due for payment upon receipt of the confirmation. Confirmation of registration must be submitted before the seminar begins. Our bank details can be found in our seminar brochure or in the imprint of this website.

 

Impossibility; withdrawal from contract 
Seminars are not held and are cancelled by the IA if seminar leaders are unable to attend and the IA is unable to provide replacements. Seminars are also cancelled by the IA if the minimum number of participants specified in the seminar description have not registered by the end of the registration period.   
In such cases, the IA will notify you immediately informing you that the seminar has been cancelled and will of course reimburse your seminar fee. Further claims can only be asserted if the IA is responsible for failure of the seminar to be held in cases such as those described in sentence

 

Your seminar fee will also be reimbursed if you cancel your registration four calendar weeks prior to the start of the event at the latest. If you withdraw your registration at a later date,

1. you will not forfeit your seminar fee only if you name and register another person in your place;

2. twenty five per cent of the seminar fee will be reimbursed for each remaining calendar week prior to the start of the seminar;

3. the full seminar fee is retained if you do not attend the seminar without notifying us of your intention to cancel.

 

Registered trademark              
The IA disclaims all warranty that the titles, processes or names used in the seminar programme are free of third party rights.

 

Miscellaneous       
To the extent permitted by law Munich is the exclusive legal venue for all disputes arising directly or indirectly from the contractual relationship. Should any provision in these terms and conditions or in any other agreements be or become ineffective, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions or agreements.
