Safe Packaging - Specialised training on 28 February 2012 in Celle

On 1 April 2010 the new Swiss regulation about articles of daily use will be implemented. Which consequences will follow to these new rules, which conditions are already fixed by the European regulations?

The specialised training "Print Products for Foodstuffs, semi-luxury Goods and Tobacco" disentangels the diversity of statutory regulations and provides a comprehensive set of guidelines.

With "Printing Inks for Foodstuffs", a further booklet in the series INKFORMATION has been published recently.

This issue will give an overview about transfer of substances from packaging to food, legal requirements of food packaging in Europe, methods of sensory and migration testing and good manufacturing practice for food packaging.

The topic printing inks for compliant food packaging is dealing with offset inks and overprint varnishes as well as gravure and flexo inks.
This INKFORMATION is designed for alls those who are interested to get an overview about food packaging.

2,5-day workshop: Standardised Production according to ISO 12647

Get a close connection from theory to hands on content

INK ACADEMY takes advantage of the experts in hubergroup‘s application department prepress, offering competent service with the workshop „Standardised Production according to ISO 12647". In this workshop, the specific processes of participants are incorporated with the goal to establish a close connection from theory to hands on content.
Recognise correlations and learn about the methods of standardisation according to ISO definitions. Calibrate the proofer, the plate setter and the press. Control the results. Create a solid basis for Certification.
Managers from offset printing shops (commercial printing and packaging printing) are targeted with this offer. The 2,5day workshop takes place in-house, at a date to your earliest convenience.

A possible follow-up can be arranged after a two or three months period after the implementation. The INK ACADEMY experts are offering a complete overhaul of the suggested measures with the follow-up.

It focusses on the print problems rubbing and carboning causing a lot of trouble, especially when matt coated papers are used. The course will show that a brilliant print quality with a high ink layer and intense shades is only possible when the printing ink is adapted to the substrate.

Ink and paper manufacturers can offer solutions for this problems.
